Building drying applications

The DryPanel® heats the masonry with infrared C radiation and makes the restoration of water damage easier and more efficient.

Drying partition walls

Attach the DryPanel® to the diffusion-tight side of the wall surface if a partition wall is not diffusion-open on both sides. This creates a pressure effect with which the moisture on the opposite, diffusion-open surface escapes into the room air.

With masonry open to diffusion on both sides (25 cm vertically perforated brick), the average drying time is 8-10 days.

Drying exterior walls

When drying exterior walls, a timed operation is necessary, provided that the outer side is open to diffusion. In this way, you avoid displacement of moisture into deeper layers of the wall. You will achieve the best results with switch-off cycles in which the displaced moisture can balance itself out again.

Note that significantly longer drying cycles are to be expected with this application.

Drying door and window reveals

For use in narrow niches and for door and window reveals, the compact DryPanel® models are particularly suitable. BT300 and BT200. In the case of overall rehabilitation, you can use it to treat potential problem areas specifically from day one. For sustainably shorter rehabilitation cycles.

Supplement for insulation drying

With insulation drying using the compressed air method, the compressed air blown in escapes again between the screed and the masonry. The moisture thus reaches the base area of the masonry. With the DryPanel® BT300 in the base mounting you counteract this effect.

The result: due to the local heating you shorten the total drying time enormously.

Flexible mounting options

Base mounting with feet

Fix the two feet to the frame structure easily and without tools using the knurled screws supplied.

Wall mounting

In secured areas, simply fasten the DryPanel® to the seam of the frame construction with a nail. For non-secured areas, a screw connection is made between DryPanel® and masonry using mounting brackets.

Mounting with telescopic rods

Fasten the knurled screws to the frame of the DryPanel® using mounting clamps. The mounting clamps can be connected to telescopic rods and are particularly gentle on walls. Optimal for smaller water damages.

Ceiling mounting

Establish a firm screw connection between DryPanel® and the ceiling by means of mounting brackets. Important: Ensure sufficient rear ventilation of the devices in the process.
